These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bellingham Junk Removal Service (“BJRS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) website and the junk removal and hauling services we provide. By using our website or booking our services, you agree to these Terms.
Our Services
We provide junk removal, hauling, and property cleanout services for residential and commercial customers across Whatcom and Skagit County, Washington. Services are subject to availability, scheduling, and our acceptance of the job.
Estimates & Pricing
Estimates are free and provided without obligation. Junk removal is generally priced by how much space your items take up in our truck. We aim for upfront, transparent pricing with no hidden fees. For jobs booked without a prior estimate, the price is based on the volume of items at the time of pickup. Any quote is an estimate until the items are assessed.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service unless we agree otherwise in writing. We accept the payment methods indicated at the time of service.
Scheduling, Cancellations & Access
We will work with you to schedule a pickup window and may contact you before arrival. Please provide safe and reasonable access to the items being removed. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please let us know as soon as possible. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, access issues, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Items We Cannot Accept
For safety and legal reasons, we cannot remove hazardous materials, including (but not limited to) wet paint, chemicals, solvents, automotive fluids, and propane or other pressurized tanks. You are responsible for disclosing the nature of the items to be removed. If prohibited items are discovered, we may decline to remove them.
Ownership & Your Responsibilities
By requesting service, you represent that you own the items to be removed, or are authorized to have them removed, and that doing so does not violate any law or agreement. Please remove any personal, valuable, or confidential items before we begin. We are not responsible for items left in or attached to things we remove.
Donation, Recycling & Disposal
Once items are removed, they become our responsibility to handle. We sort loads at our own facility and donate or recycle usable items and materials whenever we can, and dispose of the rest responsibly. We do not guarantee that any particular item will be donated, recycled, or handled in a specific way, and we cannot return items after they have been removed.
Property Care & Liability
Our crew takes care to protect your property during removal, and we are licensed and insured. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for pre-existing damage, ordinary marks or wear from moving large or heavy items through tight spaces, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services will not exceed the amount you paid for the service in question. Please report any concerns to us promptly.
